Why is FamilySearch showing temple work needs to be done when it already has a date?

FamilySearch Family Tree shows each incident of a person as a unique individual needing temple work.  More than likely what you are seeing are duplicate sets of parents, spouses or individuals that need to be combined in FamilySearch.  Once all the duplicates are combined the temple ordianances will show completed.
