How do I fix broken multimedia links in RootsMagic 4?

  1. RootsMagic Support
  2. RootsMagic (RM7 or earlier)
  3. Multimedia (RM7 or earlier)

The following instructions are for RootsMagic 7 and earlier versions. 

  1. Make sure you are running at least version 4.0.4.0 or later (do Help > About from the RootsMagic menu to see the exact version).
  2. Open the Media Gallery (Lists > Media gallery from the menu)
  3. Click the Tools button, then select "Fix broken multimedia links"
