In the People tab the names are unindexed.

The NAMES are not indexed alphabetically. How do I get them indexed as they have been in the past? 

The columns in this tab can be sorted by clicking on the top row above the data. You have probably click on one of the other columns to see a different sort. Click on the column above name, and you should see the table sorted by name again.
