How do I combine (or merge) two databases together?

  1. RootsMagic Support
  2. RootsMagic (RM7 or earlier)
  3. General Questions (RM7 or earlier)
  1. Create a new blank database
  2. Open the blank database and one of your original databases
  3. Drag a name from the original database to the blank one and then just choose the appropriate copy option
  4. Close the original database and open the second database
  5. Drag a name (as in step 3) into the new database also
