Why does the program have a person in the "needs more information" category when submitting for temple ordinances, when it appears that absolutely everything that should be required is present?
New FamilySearch (NFS) uses "Standardize Place Names" for qualifying individuals for temple work. When New FamilySearch does not recognize the place as standardized then it will give you a message "needs more information". Currently the best way to fix this person's data is in new FamilySearch itself. You can go there by using RootsMagic's Share Data screen and clicking on the option "Show on FamilySearch".
This will bring up the individual's record on NFS. Once there edit the event's place, it will give you a listing of standardize names to choose from as you type. Make sure the event with the "Standardized Place Name" is set in the "Summary" view. Once you have the information correct on new.familysearch.org you will want to return to RootsMagic.
It is best to simply refresh your RootsMagic screen for the individual. Simply close the FamilySearch screen and then reopen. It should allow you now to submit the individual's for temple ordinances.
