This can happen if you are using more than one RM database to store your information.  Each RM file keeps its own tracking system so that family members with different files on the same computer can each have their own tracking system for their own NFS login.

Because of this, if you remove a card while in one file, it will not necessarily be removed from the tracking system for the other files.
